My first post

My friend Erica told me that I really should start my own blog. So here I am Erica!

My little guy turned 8 months old yesterday.  I took him in to be weighed today and he is 19 pounds 5.8 ounces.  I really expected he would be heavier than that, but I guess he is doing most of his growing in length to be tall just like his daddy. We will attempt to have him hold still long enough to get his height today.

Emmett's new parlor trick is to blow "zerberts" in the air, spraying spit as he does so. It's funny as they find new ways to make noise when they are young.  Although that seems to continue until they are 9 year old boys!
